Leading the programme as a new Director of Rugby is Chris Denoven. After a successful couple of seasons leading the Colts, Chris will move to the DoR position to drive standards, culture, and ambition across all senior teams.

We are thrilled to announce that Edd Rhodes will be returning to the club as Men’s 1st Team Head Coach for next season. Many of you will be familiar with Edd from his previous role at the club but Edd has a wealth of rugby experience in junior/senior rugby in this area. Edd is thrilled to be “coming home” and working alongside Chris and the other coaches for next season.

Chris has selected Ollie Middleton to continue as Attack/Backs Coach for next season. He will be ably assisted by Finn Allen as he expands his coaching experience, also moving from the successful Colts setup.

In the pack, Chris has selected Ben Brock and Ross Stewart to take charge as Forwards/Defence Coaches next season.

Ollie Francis will continue as Second team coach and he will be assisted by Dave Watts who starts his coaching journey with us from next season.

All these coaches bring experience, huge quality and a deep understanding of the club’s DNA.

In addition to his coaching role, Ross Stewart will continue with his Coaching development role across all sections of the club. Ross and Chris will also work together on strategic activities for the future of the club and to align to the ‘Olney 2030’ initiative.

As part of this transition, we say a huge thank you and goodbye to Adam King, who has chosen to depart the coaching setup after many years of commitment. We wish Kingy all the best for the future but are certain he’ll be spotted propping up the bar on a Saturday afternoon.
