Colts Commence Campaign

Off the back of the best year ever for our Colts team, this Saturday see’s them start the 25-26 season with a Home fixture against Ampthill

To say the off-season has been full-on would be...spot-on

“With training throughout, and some special sessions mixed in to welcome the U17s into the team, it has been great to see this new team build and bond” said Head Coach Chris Denoven.

Highlights of the off-season include the running of the annual Mobbs Challenge - Well done to Darragh Fitzgerald and Alex Bickers for winning the Mobbs Challenge 2025. The challenge consists of an 8kg sandbag to be carried over undulating terrain and through the river for 7km. Remembering codes at each checkpoint and returning back to the rugby club for a weight check in. Bickers and Darragh completed the run in 40.13 mins. Got one code wrong, lost 3.8kg of sand so finished on a time of 57.33min ????

The. Culmination of pre-season was a chance to relax as the lads hit Box End on Sunday for a team building afternoon. They were joined by some of the U16s as we start the pathway from M&Js to Colts for the next group!

A massive thanks to all the coaching team for their efforts over the summer!
