Last Saturday, surrounded by family and friends, Club President, Tom Salsbury, awarded Fraser Bull a Club Blazer in recognition of his outstanding contribution and exceptional service to The Club.
Fraser first started coming to The Club in 2004 when his oldest son started in minis. He graduated from parent to being part of the coaching team for his second son's age group and then, given the growth in the minis section, became the inaugural ‘Minis Chair’. He was then ‘promoted’ to overall Minis & Juniors Chair, a position he held for a number of years.
This was a period of massive growth for the M&J’s and culminated in Fraser having the honour of representing the club at the first RFU National Awards in 2016 where we were awarded ‘Youth Rugby Club of the Year’. Following stepping down as Chair, Fraser has continued to referee for the club - he had often refereed since first starting, and had completed the referee qualification. He mainly refs at Colts and Juniors level which “I thoroughly enjoy”...indeed, he enjoys it so much that at 10:30 the day after begin awarded his Club Blazer, he refereed the under 14’... now that’s commitment!
Congratulations Fraser !
