Welcome one and all to the 2019/20 season, it really doesn’t seem 5 minutes since all the celebrations at the end of the last campaign.

Promotion at the end of last season means that this year will bring us some new and tough challenges. We will get to visit some clubs we haven’t played before, make new friends and we will also be able to reacquaint ourselves with old friends from recent years whose path we have followed. Either way we must embrace the challenge and continue the good work of last season.

The summer months have seen several good social gatherings at the club, not least another successful 7s tournament and the first O’Fest, big thanks to all involved in the organisation of these. Changes have also been made to the club and grounds with a new club shop in the clubhouse and an extension to the patio area outside which looks fantastic!!

We are pleased to welcome back our coaching team of Dan Seal and Brendan Burke for a 2nd year. Their hard work last year led to our promotion and the general good vibe within the playing section.

Thanks in advance to the players, coaches & managers for the efforts you will make this season, as good as last year was it is in the past now but I’m sure the focus in on putting on a good show this term.

To all the people who volunteer their services to the club throughout the year, your efforts are hugely appreciated and the place really wouldn’t be what it is ( & couldn’t be) without you!!
To all the sponsors, a big thank you, your continued generosity and support helps the club to be the envy of many.

Thanks also to all those who come along and support week in week out, home and away. It really does make a big difference to those on the pitch to have a vocal, partisan crowd behind you.

I look forward to seeing you all throughout the season and sharing a beer and a yarn with as many as possible.

Here’s to a good one
Enjoy!!

Tom
