Olney RFC are pleased to be working in partnership with EastMidsRefs to support and develop club based referees. One of 3 clubs in the East Midlands involved in this initiative we are looking to build on and grow the pool of potential match officials at the club.
So if you are passionate about rugby and looking to be more involved in the game, whether you're a seasoned player, parent or just love the sport, becoming a club match official for ORFC is a fantastic way to get involved the action!
This is open to all (age 14+) and you will be given training, guidance and pitch side support during the playing season. There are games every weekend at all levels and age groups, including practice training games, so plenty of scope to get involved.
The first session will run on Wednesday 28th August 7-8:30pm, we will start in the clubhouse before going outside weather dependant for the remainder of the session.
If you have already done some officiating, taken a refereeing course, or are about to, and not yet taken it much further, you are most welcome to join the group – just get in touch with Tom Winter - Secretary@olneyrfc.co.uk
