Senior coaching team announced

This is a strong line up who will make a really good impact at Olney
- John Robinson, Director of Rugby

Olney RFC has announced its new look coaching team for the 2018/19 season.

Dan Seal moves into the Head Coach role at Olney, having joined the club last year as specialist skills coach. He's made a good impression thus far and is looking forward to the new challenge ahead.

Dan said, "I'm looking to build on the hard work that both Phil and Edd have put in over the past few years, and keeping those high standards in place. Olney RFC has great potential but I want to give them that extra push, recruiting more players to this strong squad and making it more competitive across all of the senior sides."

Also joining the team is Brendan Burke, who played for Leinster before joining Rotherham then spending eight years with Bedford Blues, where he became a true Blues legend. He moved onto Ampthill as Player/Coach before joining Cambridge, also as player/coach, helping both sides win promotion to National 1. Brendan has spent a year as backs coach for Coventry, but now brings his inspiring presence to Olney RFC. You can watch Brendan in action here:

Director of Rugby at Olney RFC, John Robinson, said: "We're delighted to move Dan into the Head Coach position and welcome Brendan to the coaching team. This is a strong line up who will make a really good impact at Olney; I'm looking forward to seeing their new approach play out on the pitch."

Welcome to our new coaches and good luck from everyone at Olney RFC
