G2 Energy (G2) is the UK’s leading provider of design and build solutions for the sustainable energy infrastructure.
Founded in 2006, G2 established itself as a design house for the Electrical Power industry. Following a period of rapid growth due to market demands, G2 became an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) and began a full design and build service for electrical and civil “Balance of Plant” infrastructure.
G2 is a Lloyds registered, NERS accredited Independent Connection Provider, delivering contestable works up to 132kV and National Grid works up to 400kV.
Today G2 primarily operates within the renewable energy market, providing High Voltage Electrical and Civil engineering services for large scale engineering projects, including Europe’s largest battery energy storage system.
G2 currently has over 150 employees across the UK, with our Head Office located within the historic market town of Olney (near Milton Keynes).
