Curry and sport, what's not to love?

Olympic Medallist Gail Emms MBE is hosting a special event on Monday 23 September in Milton Keynes featuring a Q&A with cricketer Matthew Hoggard and Leicester Tigers prop Greg Bateman.

Over a curry buffet at Maaya in The Hub, the guests are set to talk about high performing teamwork and reflect on the Ashes and Cricket World Cup, and this year's Rugby World Cup in Tokyo. Gail, who won silver in the 2004 Olympic Games and gold in Commonwealth and World Championships, is compering the event and now applies her world class sports experience in delivering development workshops to businesses.

Matthew Hoggard MBE played international cricket for England from 2000–2008, playing both Test cricket and One Day Internationals. Hoggard was a right arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed batsman and part of the winning 2005 Ashes team.

Greg Bateman plays for Premiership Rugby side Leicester Tigers. Bateman has previously played for Dorking, London Welsh and Exeter Chiefs. He has played in all three front row positions and currently focuses on loosehead prop.

Tickets cost £35+booking fee and are available online https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sport-curry-night-tickets-64530546602
