Olney RFC wins Paget Cup

Olney RFC has won the Paget Cup, awarded to the most successful club in the Northampton Alliance.

Warren Brew from the Alliance presented the trophy to Olney RFC at its special Presidents Day event on Saturday 27 April.

16 clubs from across Northants and Bucks were in the running this year, but Olney's strong performance throughout this season gave them the clear top spot.

The Northampton Alliance was formed in 1922 to promote the game of rugby across the region.
