Meat RaffleThe weekly Sunday meat raffle is the highlight of many people's week. Any member present during the raffle is entitled to buy tickets to win meat supplied by one of our sponsors Bennetts of Olney, or occasionally vegetables supplied by Joe Dorrill. It is not intended to be a massive profit raising event but all profits do go to the main club.
For those who have witnessed the “very tongue in cheek affair” with winners being “teased”, (usually quite fairly but always politically incorrectly) it is not intended to offend but to be laughed at. So please join in, but if you are bald/short/big eared/grey-haired/wear glasses/tall/in the police/speak in a funny accent, or from Newport, expect to take some flack. It’s just a bit of fun!!
