Friday 21st May
Presentation Evening - confirmed. Our age group presentations will start at 6.30pm. Please do not be late!
Tuesday 25th May AGM. - 8pm in clubhouse. Please come along to have your say on how the section is run. There will also be some posts up for election if you want to volunteer & help out next season. We really need more volunteers so please consider standing. Further info will follow. I will email you with team selection & details for the above tournaments/matches. As last season if you have any queries/comments regarding your childs rugby please contact Ben.

U8 Selection Policy
Selection will be the same as last year. Coaches will meet to select an "A" team made up of our best players. We shall then select a "B" team based on our remaining top players and so on through the team.
The "A" team will be selected to play at festivals/tournaments where we consider the competition to be strongest.
Where possible we shall try & enter more than 1 team to ensure that as many players as possible be given the opportunity to play against other sides.
Whilst these selections are made by the coaches we shall always be available to take on board comments from everyone involved in the age group.

Start Times
We start training promptly at 10.30am. Please ensure your child is ready to start by then. For matches I will email to let you know what time to meet. Late arrivals are disruptive not only for the children but also for the coaching team. Please be on time.
Cancellations
With over 30 children playing it is impossible for me to ring around everyone if training/matches are cancelled for any reason (usually the weather). I will post a notice/email by 9.45am (where possible) if we have to cancel for any reason. Please check before you leave home!
Kit
All children are required to play matches in official Olney RFC tops, navy shorts & navy socks. Studded boots not blades are required. Jogging bottoms cannot be worn whilst playing matches but may be worn for training. All kit enquiries are dealt with by Valerie Wells (see contacts page)
Clubhouse
No studded boots or muddy clothes allowed in the clubhouse at any time. Social membership is required for EVERY adult who comes to the club.
Emails
All correspondance is made by email. Please ensure i have your correct email address. Most require a reply so please do so even if it is just a yes or no! I am not a mind reader & with 30+ children to organise your response is essential!
