Latest NewsU10's Winn Mobbs at Brackley (February 23, 2009)The U10's went to Brackley on 22nd Feb 2009 to play in the Mobbs Tournament.
As many will know Edgar Mobbs, played for Olney in 1903, went on to become Saints and England captain. All the more reason for us to win the MOBBS in his honour - he died in WW1 92 years ago!
Having won all 3 qualifiers we then played Casuals and ON's in the round robin beating them both with some excellent play. We are now throught to the final against Luton to be played at Bedford on the 7th April 2009 before the Bedford v Barbarians game. WELL DONE LADS. It would be great to have as much support from the rest of the club as possible, tickets are £10 for adults and U16's are free. |
