Latest News30,000 strong crowd watch Olney under 7s! (January 30, 2009)Playing on the hallowed turf of Twickenham is something many of us rugby players can only dream about, but for Olney under-7s the dream became a reality on Saturday 17 Jan.
The team travelled down to London and first played four qualifying matches at Richmond College. Having won them all, Twickenham and the opposition team, Ealing Trailfinders, beckoned.
The match took place at the half time break in the Wasps v Leinster games with 30,000 fans watching. Olney held their own in a tough game, with Ealing eventually running out 3-2 winners.
Despite the loss on the pitch, getting to Twickenham was a victory for the team, so WELL DONE all of the U7s!
