Teams from many of Olney Rugby Club's youth sides travelled up to Derby last Sunday (23 Sept) to take part in the annual Lexus youth tournament.

Way beyond the achievements overall of last year's teams, this season every single team that entered made it beyond their pool stage games into the semi finals for their age group - a fantastic achievement!

It was the Under 16s who stole the show, notching up wins against Hinkley, Nottingham and drawing against Norwich to make the semis.  Facing Kenilworth, they played some superb rugby to book a place in the final.

The final saw the U16s take on the home side, Derby and despite some great rugby and encouraging teamwork, the northern side had the edge and won 10-0.
