Annual Golf Day a Resounding Success (August 09, 2007)
Taking place once again at Farthingstone golf club in blazing sunshine, the annual golf day was well attended and enjoyed by young and old.
In the morning, the texas scramble was jointly won by five groups, all on two over par. In the afternoon however, on a tough day with long rough Whizz came up trumps with a score of 32 to win the individual competition for the Salisbury Shield.
Macca, as Judge, was quite harsh in making everyone who scored more than 22 points pay a fine and there were some choice individual penalties.
