On behalf of Olney RFC, I just wanted to thank you all for your support throughout this season.

Its been a successful season both on and off the pitch. The senior teams have all done well and we continue to have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Vets, Colts and Ladies teams representing the club most weekends – this is more than most clubs our size! The Mini’s & Juniors have also had another successful season with a few of the age groups doing very well in their age group league and cups.

Without our army of volunteers and local companies who are willing to support a thriving community rugby club, the club wouldn’t be anywhere near as established as we are today.

This year is our 140th year of Olney Rugby Club’s existence! To celebrate this we are putting on a fun day at the club on Saturday 21st April. There’ll be a complementary hog-roast from 13:30, multiple matches kicking off at 15:00 (with our first team taking on Market Bosworth in the last league game of the season!) as well as a disco into the evening (with Belgian Fries onsite as well).

Please feel free to join us at any point of the afternoon and evening. Marcus Trott, Rob DeMain and others on the Sponsorship Committee will also be with me. Feel free to come and speak to any of us throughout the day.

Even if you cannot make it to the club on Saturday 21st April, I hope to see you at the club sometime soon.
