Craig Smith ("bones") is taking up the mantle of Second XV Captain for this season. Having played at the club for 20 years, back row Craig brings his experience to the fore having played most positions on the pitch during his rugby career.

Joining him as Vice Captain is 20-year-old scrum half Lewis Foster, who was new to the club last year but who already appreciates the friendships forged at Olney RFC. Lewis said: "I want to create a good atmosphere and strong bond amongst the team, with everyone playing to their best and enjoying themselves."

Craig cites Richard Hill and Neil Back as his rugby inspirations, and said: " I love the excellent team spirit throughout our club and I want to create a strong Second XV who are pushing the First team for their positions."
