Now in its 12th year, Olney 7s continues to promise a fantastic day out for rugby players and fans. Entries are now open for the tournament, which is ranked as a qualifying event for the England Rugby Secure Trading 24 Sevens series.

This year the pitchside refreshments and entertainment is looking top notch, with a Prosecco and gin bar, Caribbean food, Belgian Fries, Bouncy castle and childrens' activities. After the rugby you can expect a fantastic after-party in the Brakspear bar and marquee with a live band, hog roast and well stocked bar!

Here's the lowdown of what to expect from this epic day:

Men’s Open
The Sport Punk Men’s Open Tournament has a prize of £500 to our winning team, with a £250 for the runners-up. This tournament is a local qualifying event for England Rugby’s Secure Trading 24 Sevens Series. The winning team will have the opportunity to progress to the regional and national events if they are successful at each level.

Ladies Open
The Cherry Tree Ladies Open Tournament, for 8 teams. Games will alternate with the men’s tournaments and will be an integral part of the day. Cash prize for the winners.

Men’s Social
The Stimpsons Eves Men’s Social Tournament, for 16 teams, is aimed at players who are mainly over 30 or play in lower club, work or other social sides.

ENTRY DETAILS
Entry to all tournaments is £125 per squad of 12 players
Entries confirmed on payment of entry fee.
Closing date for entries – 3rd June

Tournaments include:
At least 3 ‘pool’ games
All teams progress to the knockout stages
Trophy, Plate, Shield and Bowl competitions
Complimentary pitch side physio support
Complimentary Olney 7s T shirt for all players
Complimentary ‘jug’ from the bar per team
Free entry for supporters and spectators to the rugby
Space for team gazebo or small marquee
Overnight free camping available (Friday & Saturday nights)
Use of the club showers and other facilities.
