New Conditioning Coach for Olney RFC

Olney RFC is bringing in a coaching specialist to work on strength and conditioning in its senior squad. Ed Buck joins the club to support the new coaching team of Phil Powell and Edd Rhodes.

Yorkshire born Buck, 23, has coached for Old Grammarians RUFC, Worcester Wanderers Under 17s, Wellingborough School and the Northampton Saints Developing Player Programme. On joining Olney RFC, Ed said: “Joining Olney’s coaching team was a no brainer when the opportunity arose. It is a great club with a big reputation and I want to foster a winning mentality which will see us challenge for promotion.”

Head Coach Phil Powell said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ed into our coaching team; he has a vast amount of experience as both a player and coach. Ed will be leading on developing the strength and conditioning of our senior squad, and working with Edd to assist the players individual skill developing. This is a great acquisition for the club, and we look forward to supporting Ed’s own development too.”
