As you may be aware the Club have succeeded in gaining planning permission for the new changing rooms for the M&J and Ladies sections of the Club. Now comes the challenge….the raising of £150,000 needed to pay for this fantastic addition to our facilities.

Traditionally the club would raise money at a series of events during the year; 7s Tournament, May Ball, social nights as well as from general bar takings. Sadly, Covid has put paid to the last 18 months of these activities…but we aren’t downhearted, with over 800 active members of Olney RFC we can begin to make inroads into raising these funds, but we need some help…your help!

The Club are looking for a team of volunteers to form a Fundraising Committee to come-up with ideas and action plans to raise the funds for the fantastic and needed addition to the club. The Main Committee has had lots of ideas, but we need more and the people to get them off the ground.

We would love people from all elements of the Club to come forward – parents of M&Js, players from the Mens, Ladies, Colt’s, VP’s, Social members, friends of the club. So, if you think you can help with ideas, time and energy, please contact olneyrfcsponsorship@gmail.com to get involved.
