Find out more about Jordan Letts and Graham Smith

Everyone who has a link to Olney is proud of the club at every level – and it’s a privilege to put on the first team shirt and play in front of our supporters.

Named in the Vice Captaincy roles for this season, Jordan Letts and Graham Smith offer different qualities to the position but both bring a passion for Olney RFC.

Committed to Olney RFC since he was 6 years old and playing for the Under 7s, 24-year-old Jordan can be found in the fly half or centre positions. His best rugby moment for Olney was being a part of the team that won the Lewis Shield. He says “Olney RFC is more than just a rugby club. You feel part of a family both on and off the pitch.”

In his fourth season for Olney, loose head prop Graham also feels the sense of belonging at Olney RFC; his best moment for the club was being awarded his club blazer, and it’s something he wears with pride: “Olney RFC has a rich history and there are many people at the club who work hard to make sure this isn’t forgotten. Everyone who has a link to Olney is proud of the club at every level – and it’s a privilege to put on the first team shirt and play in front of our supporters.”

Forgoing the international players many traditionally look to for their inspiration, Jordan and Graham found their rugby heroes closer to home. Jordan says his inspiration is club captain Jim 'Spud' Osborn whilst Graham is motivated by the long serving club stalwart Dave ‘Smudge’ Smith.

Both players are committed to helping Olney be as successful as it can be, and building a team that shows pride and passion for the club. Good luck to them both in these vital roles this season.
