Lucy Attwood, who lives in Olney and attends Ousedale school, has been named in the England U20 Ladies rugby squad to face Canada in a series of August international games.

Lucy is captain of Olney U18 Girls team, playing at fly half and centre. She previously played for England U18 girls in a game where they beat Canada 41-17.

Lucy was one of the original players who helped form Olney Rugby Club's girls squad four years ago. Since then the section has flourished and this season the U18 Girls reached the National Cup semi-finals.
