Betteridge steps up for Coventry in International fixture
Freddie Betteridge played for Coventry against Canada on November 5th. It was Canada's final warm up game before their World Cup Qualifying fixtures against Germany, Kenya and Hong Kong.
Playing a physical game in front of a good Coventry crowd, the hosts lost 35-12 to Canada's World cup starting 15, with Freddie giving a good account of himself. Canada went on to win all three of their qualifying games and are now placed in pool B, up against New Zealand and South Africa in the Rugby World Cup 2019.
